Tree Lighting Ceremony 2001

Annual tree lighting ceremony at the Circle, 5 p.m., December 2, 2001 and was sponsored by Mayor's Community Celebrations Committee. Doug Lanzo was the chairperson.

The [HH Anti-Drug Council] sponsored a "Stroll Along the Boulevard" with all participants walking with a light along the Boulevard towards the Circle to partake in the lighting of the tree.

The Mayor welcomed the community. Fr. Ray provided a brief prayer. The High School provided chorale and musical accompaniment as those assembled sang Christmas songs. Santa was available for photos. Plenty of hot cocoa and snacks were provided. Music & PA system were provided by "DJ Vito of Fantasy Sounds".
