DPW Responds to Storm

On Friday, July 2, 2004 at about 6:00 p.m., a brief and very fierce summer thunderstorm struck Hasbrouck Heights causing alarms to sound, tree branches and wires to fall.  It was reported that lighting had struck the New Municipal Complex, but no serious damage was apparent.  The fireworks display had been organized for that evening, but the pyrotechnic set-ups were protected and the program proceeded as scheduled.

Within hours after the storm subsided, the DPW responded and removed a fallen tree at a resident's home on the 300 block of LaSalle Avenue.
