Cub Scouts Hold Bicycle Rodeo

On May 1, 2004, Cub Scout Pack 17 sponsored a bike rodeo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Woodland Park for children from kindergarten through 6th grade.  Every youngster received a free bicycle helmet, which was custom fitted. Ty Agosta's State Farm Agency in Wood-Ridge, provided children with a Bike License Certificate complete with photo. Bicycles received a safety and tire pressure check. They then participated in several bicycle riding skill challenges. Pre-registration fee was $4 and $5 walk up.  A Tiger Roundup followed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call Frank Rodriguez at 201-641-1152 for more info. [2003 photos]
