Reorganization Meeting 2009
On January 1, 2009, at 11:45 a.m., a Sine
Die Meeting was held to conclude 2008 business.
The beginning of the 2009 year began with
Mayor Rose Marie Heck administering the Oath of Office Councilwoman
Justin DiPisa and Councilman Pamela J. Link.
Upon the seating of the new council members,
Mayor Rose Marie Heck declared the 2009 Reorganization Meeting
in session.
There was a Salute to the Flag. Conchita Parker
led the singing of "God Bless America," and an invocation
was given by the Fr. Lewis V. Papera, Pastor of Corpus Christi
Church.
The Mayor administered the Oath of Office
to the 2009 Fire Department Officers.
There was an announcement of council assignments.
Mayor Heck made her appointments and delivered her Inaugural
Address.
Rev. Edward J. Glasser, Associate Minister
of the Community United Church of Christ, provided the concluding
Benediction. The meeting was adjourned and light refreshments
were served in the Senior Center. ###
