Chamber Hosts 11th Annual
Window Painting Contest

During mid-October, the Hasbrouck Heights Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the three grammar school PTA’s, sponsored the 11th Annual Halloween Window Painting Contest. Event chair Bill O’Shea estimated that over 300 third, fourth and fifth grade students participated this year.

The children paint a Halloween theme illustration on one of the window spaces provided by Boulevard businesses. Graphics are judged upon originality and artistic expression, winners from each grade receive 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Ribbons. All participants will receive ribbons.

Chamber of Commerce President Tom Meli stated "Thousands of area residents can enjoy the bright exciting demonstration of creativity that these youngsters have to offer during a pleasant stroll along The Boulevard".

Home School Association chair: Rose Anne Amoresano (Corpus Christi), and PTA chairs: Maureen Wrede (Lincoln) and Cindy Stinson (Euclid).
